The legal market is one of the worst offenders of Google My Business spam and scams. Unfortunately, this junk (or “crap on the map” as Joy Hawkins calls it) overshadows legitimate attorney business listings.

In this session, Joy calls out the different types of spam that are rampant in the legal space, including lead generation farms, fake locations, keyword stuffing, malicious editing and review scams. She also explains how to report it and how Google is responding. If you’re working hard to digitally market your business the right way, you’ll want to learn more about GMB abuse and how to fight it.
